Itinerary: boat ride across the Gulf of Fonseca, passing the Naval Base, Nauterra and local communities · views of Conchagüita, Meanguera, Martín Pérez and Ilca islands · beach time and lunch at La Playona, Zacatillo Island (departure from the island at 2:30 pm) · on the way back, views of the Honduran islands, Conejo Island and Chuchito Island.
Good to know: lunch is not included (restaurants on the island). Bring water shoes (you'll get wet getting on and off the boat), water, snacks, swimwear, sunscreen and insect repellent. There will be water splashes during the boat ride: wear clothes that can get wet and protect your belongings in a waterproof bag. Schedules may vary due to weather or sea conditions.
