A message from Captain Mario

I was born and raised in the shadow of the Conchagua Volcano, where the waters of three nations meet. What began as an artisanal calling to the sea became, over the years, Golfo Travel: a family business born to show the hidden treasures of the Gulf of Fonseca.

We're not just another boat. We know every current, every island and every legend of these waters, and we know that sailing the Gulf is an experience where the adrenaline of the waves blends with the calm of golden sunrises and sunsets over the sea.

The crew's promise is simple: to guide every journey with the utmost safety and with respect for the Gulf and its people. We invite you to disconnect from your routine, discover island life and return home with a renewed spirit.

Mario communicated very well before the trip and answered all our messages right away. We booked the transportation from El Cuco to León, with the boat crossing. The service was excellent: the drivers were very friendly and the staff very attentive at the border. The crossing was much faster than the road trip through Honduras. I recommend this service.

This was the perfect way to cross from El Salvador to Nicaragua. Mario answered all my questions very quickly and gave me clear instructions: prices, pickup options, meeting point and immigration procedures. They handled our immigration in both countries without any problems.

The service was impeccable. Mario was very kind and attentive; he even told us some of the history of the three neighboring countries. It's a small family business that values its customers and listens to their needs. Thank you, Mario! We'll be back!
